Heaths

Heaths are open, uncultivated landscapes characterized by low-growing shrubs. Especially heather, gorse, and grasses; thriving on nutrient-poor, acidic soils. They often occur in temperate regions and support unique wildlife adapted to dry, windy, and low-fertility conditions.
