Phoenicopteridae
Phoenicopteridae is a family of wading birds known as flamingos. They are characterized by long legs, long necks, and specialized downward-curved bills adapted for filter-feeding on algae, small invertebrates, and plankton in shallow waters. Flamingos are often pink or reddish in color due to carotenoids in their diet and are found in parts of Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
