Psittaculidae is a family of parrots primarily found in Asia, Australasia, and the Pacific islands. These birds are characterized by strong, curved bills, zygodactyl feet (two toes forward, two backward), and often bright, colorful plumage. They are highly social and intelligent, feeding mainly on seeds, fruits, and nuts, and many species are popular in aviculture.
