Spheniscidae

Spheniscidae is the family of birds known as penguins. They are flightless, aquatic birds adapted for life in the Southern Hemisphere, especially Antarctica. Penguins have streamlined bodies, flipper-like wings for efficient swimming, and typically black-and-white plumage that provides camouflage in the water.
