Trichechidae
Trichechidae is a family of large, fully aquatic mammals known as manatees. They have rounded bodies, paddle-like flippers, and a flat, rounded tail adapted for slow swimming. Found in warm coastal waters, rivers, and estuaries of the Americas and West Africa, manatees are herbivorous and feed mainly on aquatic plants.
